SmartSearch sets out to find leaders of tomorrow with new Smarter Futures initiative
SmartSearch has started the search for its next generation of leaders with the launch of the Smarter Futures initiative.
The development programme will provide a select number of SmartSearch staff with the opportunity to work collaboratively on a live business project. With the help of experienced coaches and group workshops, the team will develop their ideas and hone their skills to lead the project from start to finish.
Applications are open to all employees and the successful applicants will be invited to pitch ideas to senior leaders and share how they see their plans coming to fruition.
The aim is to provide individuals within the 180-strong team with a platform to showcase their abilities. The programme, which is delivered in partnership with TrueNorth Development is the next phase in SmartSearch’s ongoing strategy to retain talent and develop future leaders.
Speaking on the initiative, Collette Allen, COO at SmartSearch said: “We are firm believers that our people are our most valuable asset. This exciting development programme is designed to highlight those with the ability and aspiration to progress who may not yet have had the opportunity, and to invest in them.
“Providing a platform for staff to develop their skills and reach their full potential has always been a key part of our company ethos. It’s one of many reasons why we can boast that many of our senior roles are fulfilled by long-tenured staff. Empowering employees helps foster stronger engagement and ensures we can always deliver the strongest possible product and service to our customers worldwide.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team at SmartSearch and I cannot wait to explore the brilliant ideas they come up with.”
