PayPlan wins Debt Advice Provider of the Year for successive year
PayPlan has been named Debt Advice Provider of the Year for the second year running at the Collections and Customer Services Awards.
Peter Munro, Partnerships Director at PayPlan, said: “We’re delighted to be named Debt Advice Provider of the Year and to win the award for the second year in a row makes it even more special as there were some great organisations shortlisted.
“With the cost-of-living crisis, rising interest rates and inflation rising to a 40-year high, the demand for free debt advice continued to grow throughout 2022 as people, no matter their income, faced new financial challenges.
“I’m so proud of the team for winning this award, with the judges recognising our BudgetSmart tool and Wider Support Network as critical new services supporting customers through the cost-of-living crisis, as we continue to provide ‘more than debt advice’.”
Judges at the Collections and Customer Services Awards said: “In a category in which every entry could be a winner, PayPlan stood out for judges for its ability to tackle a range of debt from financial exclusion to economic abuse.
“It shows a clear commitment to supporting vulnerable customers in increasingly challenging times with its agile ability to respond to needs. Also highlighted was PayPlan’s advocacy of greater industry cooperation.”
