ONS Construction Output in Great Britain – comments
Commenting on the ONS Construction Output in Great Britain statistics, Andrew Dixon, commercial director specialist finance, Aldermore, said: “Today’s data reveals that monthly construction output has increased by 3.5% in volume terms in November, the largest monthly rise since the start of the pandemic (March 2021) and the highest level of construction output since September 2019. This is an encouraging step forward, as the sector continues to navigate the complexities brought about by the pandemic as best it can. However, the ongoing impact of the Omicron variant may threaten to restrict the easing of supply chain pressures in the coming months.
“At Aldermore, we continue to support businesses who may be struggling with cashflow pressures at this time. Across the market, there are a range of specialist funding solutions businesses can utilise in order to maintain the health of their business.”
