Intrum Extends Global IT Services Contract with Fujitsu
Intrum has signed a new five-year global IT infrastructure outsourcing contract with Fujitsu. The contract with Fujitsu was renewed following a competitive evaluation.
The renewed agreement covers 24 countries, with Fujitsu providing fully-outsourced IT services including data center management, hybrid IT, security, 24/7 service desk and end-user support for more than 10,000 users. An addition to the services provided by Fujitsu is the implementation of ServiceNow as a service management tool to enable Intrum to further improve its operational efficiencies.
Johan Brodin, CTO at Intrum, said: “We help companies prosper by caring for their customers and by offering solutions designed to improve cash flow and enable long-term profitability. For us, it’s critical to have a powerful, agile and secure IT infrastructure, backed by a partner with the global reach to provide local support. We are convinced that Fujitsu is the right partner for us and will continue to lay the foundations for quality, efficiency and improved processes, with an optimal balance between automation and human touch.”
Håkan Dahlström, Managing Director at Fujitsu Sweden, commented: “Intrum has made a clear choice to continue to place the management of its IT infrastructure in the expert hands of Fujitsu. Intrum enables customers to accelerate their businesses through effective management and Fujitsu is proud to be a future partner in this work, by ensuring that Intrum’s technology is able to play a key role in the value chain.”
