Graduates of International Compliance Association gather to celebrate success

Students of The International Compliance Association (ICA) – part of Wilmington plc – have celebrated their success at a Graduation Ceremony in London.

The graduation event was held at the prestigious Lincoln’s Inn, London on 10 November and was attended by students who have successfully completed ICA’s professional qualifications in compliance, anti money laundering and financial crime prevention over the last 18 months. The event also celebrated those who have attained Fellowship status, the highest grade of ICA membership.

As part of his opening address, Bill Howarth, President, International Compliance Association said: “It is a fantastic honour to welcome more than 200 students and their guests from 13 different countries to the Great Hall at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. This venue has been a graduating venue for over 600 years and it creates a superb atmosphere for us to not only celebrate your achievements but to mark ICA’s 20th anniversary having certificated more than 160,000 students. I’m also very pleased that we are joined by representatives from our longstanding partners Alliance Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester and UK Finance.”

“We now look ahead with our brand-new Diploma starting later this month in Managing Sanctions Risk, and we have the very first intake of students for the University of Manchester new master’s degree in Financial Crime and Compliance in Digital Societies. I applaud and congratulate everyone for their terrific efforts and achievements in what’s been a challenging 18-months.”
