Finalists revealed for inaugural CIVEA Enforcement Excellence Awards

Finalists have been announced for the first-ever industry excellence awards that follow the annual CIVEA conference, which brings together leading players from the enforcement sector.

Reflection & Collection, the past, present and future of enforcement is to be held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London, on Thursday 21st April 2022.

The winners will be revealed at the CIVEA Enforcement Excellence Awards, taking place directly after the conference. The awards will reward excellence that benefits local communities in a post-pandemic environment, celebrating hard work in areas such as innovation, social value and maintaining high-quality performance in the face of unique obstacles and circumstances.

As the primary trade association for civil enforcement agencies in England & Wales, representing more than 95% of the industry, CIVEA encourages all of its members to ensure that enforcement agents (EAs) meet the highest professional standards. The annual CIVEA conference is an opportunity for members to network and offer thought leadership on common challenges and obstacles.

Reflection & Collection will discuss the huge strides that have been taken in enforcement operations in recent times, building upon the regulatory reforms of 2014 and demonstrating the ongoing and proactive support provided to central and local government. Speakers at the event will include Lee Sharp (Head of Private Sector Engagement, Cabinet Office), Tessa Wearing (Policy Manager, Civil Enforcement, Ministry of Justice), Kevin Shaw (Senior Creditor Strategy Manager, Money and Pensions Service) and Catherine Brown, the newly announced Chair of the Enforcement Conduct Board (ECB).
