Colin McMahon joins Sigma Connected as Director of Financial Services
Business process outsourcing provider Sigma Connected has made a senior appointment as it continues its expansion into the global financial services sector.
Sigma Connected, which offers ‘white label’ customer contact centre services across the energy, water, retail, financial services and telecommunications sectors, has appointed finance specialist Colin McMahon as director of financial services.
With over three decades of experience in the finance and banking sector, Colin will manage and strengthen relations with Sigma’s existing clients in the financial services sector and work with the company’s growing number of new clients to understand and find solutions to their challenges.
Reporting to chief commercial officer Ben Jones, Colin joins Sigma Connected from Nationwide Building Society where he managed its panel of outsource firms within Collections and Recoveries. He has previously held senior roles with Lloyds Banking Group and Arrow Global as well as having spent time working as a consultant in the debt collection sector.
Ben Jones said: “Our strategy is to recruit people with sector-specific experience and Colin fits that perfectly. His contacts, relations and unique insight of the financial services sector will be a huge asset as we look to further cement and grow our foothold in the industry.
“Over the past few years we have taken on a variety of clients from the sector but we are ambitious for further growth and to give even more support to those already working with us. Colin will be integral to that and adds a new dimension as he understands the challenges and scrutiny clients are facing, and the propositions we can offer.”
