Awards to Celebrate Outstanding Performance in Collections and Debt Purchase Sector now open for nominations
The Credit Services Association, the trade association for the debt collection & purchase sector, has launched this year’s Membership Awards which is part of the Association’s annual conference – the UK Credit and Collections Conference (UKCCC). The awards are being held on Thursday 15 September at Radisson Blu, Manchester Airport, and will celebrate the outstanding work and commitment of staff and teams within its membership organisations. This year will also see the introduction of a new award, open to both CSA members and non-members, in honour of the late Kim MacMillan. Kim was a Senior Learning and Development consultant and a treasured member of staff at the CSA who sadly passed away earlier this year. The award will commemorate Kim and her huge contribution and dedication to her Learning and Development work.
This year there will be four award categories to recognise exceptional achievement over the last 12 months:
CSA Merit Award – for individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their company or whose performance, attitude and dedication has been to the benefit of the company, their team and to the customer.
CSA Team Award – for departments or teams which have excelled in providing high levels of service, quality and dedication, as well as demonstrating outstanding teamwork and contributing to the wider success of their company and to the benefit of the consumer.
CSA Innovation Award – for companies, teams or individuals who have demonstrated high levels of creativity, adaptability and inventiveness in the face of an ever-changing environment, delivering genuine innovation for their company with positive outcomes in areas such as improved processes, customer service, efficiency, cost-saving and use of technology.
Kim MacMillan Award – awarded to an outstanding apprentice, team leader, or a team of learning and development practitioners, who have given an outstanding contribution to Learning and Development in their company.
Nominations and entries can be submitted via the UKCCC website up until the deadline on Tuesday 12 July. The CSA Award winners will be announced at the UKCCC Gala Dinner after the conference.
Chris Leslie, the Chief Executive of the CSA hopes that the awards will give employers the perfect opportunity to celebrate their people: “These awards give businesses the opportunity to recognise and celebrate their colleagues who have shown true professionalism, skill and dedication to their roles and the company.
“As the CSA’s annual flagship event, the UKCCC is the perfect place for firms to shine a light on the success of key individuals and teams and the positive ways they have engaged with customers, clients, staff and wider stakeholders.”
