Allianz Trade in the UK and Ireland appoints new Commercial Director

Allianz Trade in the UK and Ireland has appointed Steve Stennett as Commercial Director with effect from 12 December 2022.

Steve is responsible for fostering Allianz Trade’s UK and Ireland client, broker and partner relations, and delivering profitable growth through the steering of business development, commercial underwriting and marketing activities. He is a member of the UK & Ireland management team and reports to CEO Sarah Murrow. He is based in the Canary Wharf, London office.

Steve has more than 25 years’ experience in the trade credit insurance sector. He has proven strong commercial capability through leadership roles in business development and account management at country and international levels.

The timing of Steve joining Allianz Trade in the UK and Ireland is important given the current direction for the UK economy. Our customers, broker partners, and commercial colleagues will benefit from his advanced market perspective and comprehensive knowledge of businesses of all sizes and sectors.”

Steve succeeds Ozlem Ozuner, who was appointed Head of Operations and Finance, e-Commerce, at Allianz Trade, earlier this year.
