A hat-trick of award nominations for Optimum Finance

Specialist invoice finance provider, Optimum Finance, has started the year as they mean to go on with award nominations in three separate business awards.

The team are very proud to be finalists for Best Service from an Invoice Finance Provider at the Business Moneyfacts Awards; High Growth Business of the Year at the Federation of Small Businesses Awards; and Resilience and Continuity at the Chartered Institute of Credit Management Awards.

Clients of Optimum nominated the company for Best Service from an Invoice Finance Provider in numbers. The award, which is voted for exclusively by current clients, is a key metric in the business finance market.

Chief Operations Officer, Claire Lewis, said “2021 was an excellent year for Optimum. Our team truly care about our clients and this shows in the service provision they offer, it’s easy to see why we’ve been nominated for these awards.”

2021 saw the re-emergence of a need for sustained business funding and Optimum Finance grew quickly to accommodate this. Optimum’s staff levels grew by over 25% with an additional 14 members joining the team.

This number includes additions to the Senior Leadership Team in former Microsoft Global Director of Service Engineering, Gordon McIntosh, to CTO; former Group Financial Controller of Propel, Vicky Williams to CFO; and the appointment of former UK Small Business Commissioner, Philip King, as a non-executive board member.

In addition to these leadership appointments, new hires throughout the company include Marketing, Sales, and Operations staff to facilitate a greater number of clients and IT staff inline with Optimum’s technology advancement plans.

Chief Executive Officer, Ant Persse, said “It’s brilliant to be recognised for the support that we give to the UK’s SME community. We’re passionate about helping our clients succeed and it’s clear that this comes through after these nominations.”
