Webio Awarded ISO 27001

Webio, the Conversational Middleware company, has achieved ISO 27001 certification, making Webio one of the few platforms in their field to meet the highest internationally recognized security standard.

ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised Information Security Management Standard that proves an organisation’s commitment to the security of their customer, employee and shareholder’s information.

The information security management accreditation has been achieved by demonstrating Webio’s commitment to protecting data and corporate information. This rigorous data security standard demonstrates that Webio has the processes, procedures and controls in place to protect data, its confidentiality and availability throughout the company.

With the national focus on GDPR compliance for personal data confidentiality and the need for thorough system and process security, Webio are delighted to have achieved this tough accreditation . ISO 27001 works closely with GDPR to ensure full data protection and system security throughout an organisation.

This independent assessment was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, a leading UKAS Certification Body, and demonstrates Webio’s commitment to keeping their data, staff and premises secure.

With ISO 27001 in place, Webio can minimise risks to potential data security breaches and reduce errors and costs, while demonstrating credibility and trust.

Delia Jones, Webio’s Head of Operations said “We’re extremely proud to have achieved ISO 27001 certification. It demonstrates our commitment to information security and data protection. Although we have always operated to an extremely high security standard, it is great to get this UKAS accredited certification and reach this important compliance milestone.”

The benefits of certification to ISO 27001 include:
