Rimilia wins award for Digital Services from Aston University Business School

Accounts receivable automation specialist Rimilia has won an exclusive award for Digital Services as part of the TRANS-SIP programme run by the Advanced Services Group of Aston University Business School.

TRANS-SIP is a 3-year business support programme run by Aston Business School that is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to help manufacturing or technology-innovating SMEs grow their business by adopting advanced services to support their products and customers. To date, it has created 95 new jobs and generated approximately £20.25m of gross value added (GVA).

Iain McKechnie, Director of Strategic Programmes of The Advanced Services Group at Aston University commented: “Rimilia were chosen by the judges’ due to their innovative, yet disruptive, business model and the way that they utilised services design in their product-service offering – all aimed at having a direct benefit on their customers. The way that their subject matter experts embraced the services-led business model was impressive and this will no doubt provide Rimilia with sustainable, and recurring, revenue streams as they continue to grow.”

Rimilia provides intelligent finance automation solutions that enable customers to get paid on time and control their cashflow and cash collection in real-time. Their software solutions use machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to predict customer payment behaviour and easily match and reconcile payments, removing the uncertainty of cash collection.

Rimilia’s recent growth has included a two-fold increase in average new customer Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), record customer acquisitions, including ITV, ASSA ABLOY, Grafton Group and Valeo Foods.

This award comes alongside other recent wins for Rimilia such as The Hackett Group’s Aecus Automation Award and being named ‘Business of the Year’ at the 2018 Birmingham Awards.
