Huntswood adds to financial crime and payments panel PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 13 February 2018
Specialist resourcing and consultancy firm, Huntswood, has added four new members to its panel of highly experienced financial crime and fraud specialists to support its delivery of market-leading solutions to clients.

The unrelenting pace and complexity of change in financial crime and fraud brings significant challenges for firms. The advisory panel – with extensive experience across terrorist financing, fraud, investigations, bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, cyber and payments – works alongside Huntswood’s advisory experts, adding further unique insight to help firms manage these challenges effectively.

Comprising senior, high profile individuals drawn from a range of organisations in the financial services sector – spanning regulators, the industry and consultancy – the enlarged panel includes the following members:

• Graham Hooper (Former Director of Financial Crime Risk at Lloyds Banking Group)
• Dan Crisp (current UK Finance Digital Innovation Director and Former Chief Technology Risk Officer, BNY Mellon)
• Glen Marr (Former executive and senior manager in the insurance industry and Director of the Insurance Fraud Bureau)
• Philip Kenworthy (Industry advisor and former Chief Executive and Non-Executive Director at CHAPS Clearing Company Ltd)
• Andrew Churchill (Consultant & Researcher primarily on Defence & Security Technologies and Innovation)
• Andrew McDonald (Ex Head of Specialist Investigations and National Terrorist Financial Investigation Unit, Metropolitan Police)

Steven Elliot, Managing Director of Financial Crime, Information Security and Payments at Huntswood, says: “Changes in technology, regulations and customer expectations demand that firms continue to push themselves to be operationally efficient while also customer friendly and controlled. Now, more than ever, the competing challenges provide an opportunity for firms to differentiate themselves from their peers but equally, a failure to recognise and utilise those same opportunities place firms at risk of becoming uncompetitive and less attractive to their customers.

I am delighted that we are supported by the outstanding, experienced panel members, who provide support to the solutions we deliver for our clients. Working alongside our team of in-house financial crime, information and payments experts, the panel members provide complimentary, senior skills, knowledge and expertise for our solutions.”
