Monday, 13 November 2017
Elevate Credit International Limited (‘Elevate UK’), the business trading as online lender ‘Sunny’ in the UK, announces the appointment of Alan Lunt as its new Finance Director in the UK.

Alan brings over a decade of leadership experience to the business, with a strong record of growing businesses, improving efficiency, and successfully managing process and change. Prior to joining Elevate UK, Alan held several leadership roles in the financial services sector including: Finance Director at Barclays Partner Finance (Barclaycard), Finance Director at 118118 Money and most recently Interim Group Chief Financial Officer at Target Group.

Scott Greever, Managing Director of Elevate UK, commented: “We are incredibly proud of the growth and development of our UK business since we launched Sunny in 2013, despite huge regulatory changes, which have ultimately made the sector a better place. We’re thrilled to welcome Alan to the leadership team; knowing he will be instrumental in the next stage of the business’s journey. We’re ambitious and are establishing Elevate UK as a leading medium-sized business and fin-tech employer of choice. Ultimately, this will allow us to help even more consumers who are currently under-served by mainstream credit.”

Alan will report directly to Scott Greever and will direct the team responsible for leading the commercial, statutory, and operational finance functions of the business.

Commenting on his appointment, Alan Lunt, Finance Director of Elevate UK, said: “In my new role, I’ll be working closely with our executive leadership team to help deliver the business’s immediate and future aspirations. I believe that Elevate UK has an opportunity to become the leader in alternative consumer finance and I’m excited to be a part of that. I look forward to bringing my experience and expertise to an organisation that encourages collaborative, innovative thinking and has true clarity on its purpose and vision.”
