192.com launches ANDROMEDA a new data visualisation service for debt recovery investigators PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 11 September 2017
192.com today announced the release of its new data visualisation and investigation service. Andromeda is an industry-first SaaS tool which links UK people, businesses and addresses together in a visual graph, revealing connections and links that would normally remain hidden, so improving the fight against all kinds of fraud and deception.

Andromeda is aimed at debt recovery investigators, by speeding up the tracing process and instantly revealing all connections to an individual or business meaning you discover all hidden addresses and associates, helping to locate an individual and increase efficiency.

With access to bankruptcy, CCJ and property information, recovery agents can effectively decide on the viability of chasing particular debtors.

Other investigation tools deliver flat lists of results when researching people and businesses, these lists make it nearly impossible to realise all the links to a given person or business. Andromeda is different. It shows the results of a search in a visual graph where every connection to a person, business or address is immediately displayed. Users can traverse the graph in any direction and to as many degrees of separation as required.

Andromeda’s unique 360 degree view instantly reveals a debtors world, their addresses (current and past), co-occupants, length of residency, company directorships, connected people and businesses, negative alerts such as court judgments etc. Debt recovery investigators can expand or collapse the graph to follow lines of interest or dig deeper into an individual by checking property ownership, property values or by getting a full Background Report.

Users can even search for all connections between two individuals Eg. “show me how Peter Criminal and John Fraudster are connected”.

Andromeda has 150 million unique names and addresses from the Open (Edited) Electoral Register for every year from 2001 to the present day. It also includes 14 million active and inactive businesses, company directors and shareholders (past and present). In addition, Andromeda has millions of additional address records from highly respected and consented sources enabling users to view a variety of previous and current addresses, giving you a full address history of the person you are investigating. Andromeda easily connects all this information into a single, visual and easy to navigate graph comprising trillions of links.

Dominic Blackburn, Product Director of 192.com commented: “Over the last 20 years 192.com has become synonymous with providing quality people, business and address information to its users. Andromeda takes this to a whole new level, by enabling the data to be displayed visually you are able to get inside the information and discover much more than previously”
