Data Interchange strengthens leadership team PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 11 September 2017
Data Interchange, the leading EDI and eBusiness integration solutions company, has strengthened its leadership team with a series of key appointments. These include two important customer-facing positions: Keith Reed as Chief Marketing Officer and Stefan Köhler as Head of Sales.

Reed will drive forward Data Interchange’s marketing function using his considerable EMEA leadership experience. This has been gained working across all marketing functions with start-up and FTSE 100 businesses across a range of B2C & B2B companies.

“I am thrilled to be joining a thriving company that is expanding its range of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and eBusiness integration solutions to give new opportunities in new sectors and new territories,” he said. “I look forward to using my skills in retention, the ‘loyalty loop’ and the psychology of the customer journey to help develop and spread Data Interchange’s key messages. This will enhance our strong partnerships with existing customers and help build great relationships with new clients.”

Having successfully developed the company’s business and footprint in Central Europe since joining the company in 2012, Köhler is now responsible for the worldwide sales activities at Data Interchange. He commented:

“This is an exciting new role in which I will be developing sales and commercial strategies for global and local markets, running sales campaigns and initiatives with the local sales teams and increasing Data Interchange’s global customer base.”

Two further Data Interchange leadership appointments are Simon Christmas as Head of Technical Services and Susan Thomson as Finance Manager.

Joining the company’s support team in 2001, Christmas has gone on to work in, and run, most of Data Interchange’s technical departments before being appointed to lead the umbrella department of Technical Services. In his new role, Christmas oversees Data Interchange’s support, managed services, consulting and solution architecture departments. He will be setting the direction and strategy of these departments and improving processes and systems used by these teams. With a deep understanding of EDI and integration solutions, Christmas’ experience includes establishing and growing new functional areas in addition to project management of significant internal and external projects.

Thomson joined Data Interchange in 2016 to establish a management accounting function within the business. In her new role, she will provide management accounting information for the leadership team, a financial control framework and commercial decision making support. Data Interchange will benefit greatly from Thompson’s 20 plus years’ accounting experience underpinned by a BSc Mathematics with Statistics, Imperial College and a MSc Statistics, University of Kent.

Ieuan Friend, Managing Director of Data Interchange, commented: “With these exciting new appointments, Data Interchange has enhanced its leadership team. Their mix of experience, capabilities and innovation will drive our business forward and deliver success to our customers.”
