Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd., the deceased account management specialist servicing creditors in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Spain and New Zealand, has moved to strengthen its position as an innovator of digital offerings to consumers.

Echoing the theme of the recent CFPB guidance on consumer contact strategies, the group has appointed Bob Bednar as SVP Consumer Communication & Digital Strategy, to lead its digital innovation agenda. Mr. Bednar is a recognized consumer communications & marketing specialist with over 20 years’ industry experience and is ideally equipped to build on PCA’s success in this field to date.

“I am very excited about joining Phillips & Cohen’s dynamic global leadership team”, said Mr. Bednar. “I look forward to working with the Executive team to drive improvements in our digital & consumer communication strategies across all of our domestic & international markets.”

Nick Cherry, COO of Phillips & Cohen commented, “We are delighted to have Bob join the organization to lead our communication strategy through the next phase of our company’s evolution. His energy and blend of consumer marketing and credit industry experience make him an ideal addition to our team.”

Adam S. Cohen, Co-Chairman/CEO added, “Our entire business is built around providing positive customer outcomes through our compassionate and compliant engagement style. This has always included investing in our digital and consumer communication strategies to provide compliant solutions but also channel choice to the consumer. We look forward to Bob’s input and guidance as we continue to expand our capabilities domestically, in Europe, Asia and across the Americas.”
