Harrington Brooks announces new legal partnership PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 12 May 2017
Harrington Brooks today is announcing a new partnership with Otten Penna Solicitors, an exciting new collaboration that will ensure that customers with debt concerns are able to gain access to the best fully rounded service.

Otten Penna has a strong track record of helping their customers who are facing a whole range of issues that could have a material impact on their financial and mental health, including domestic abuse, child custody issues, county court judgements and pre-nuptial arrangements.

As a result of the new partnership, Otten Penna, based in Northenden, Manchester, will work with Harrington Brooks to refer customers who they believe would benefit from Harrington Brooks’ expert debt advice and assistance.

The partnership was a natural fit for both parties as 50% of Otten Penna’s new customers have some degree of personal debt issues, meaning that Harrington Brooks is expertly placed to offer advice and support to those customers, should they require it.

Otten Penna also has a specialist support unit that deals with mental health, meaning that it understands the complex problems that debt can cause – a particularly important issue during this week of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Commenting on the new partnership, Matthew Cheetham, CEO of Harrington Brooks, said: “We are delighted to have forged this new and exciting partnership with Otten Penna Solicitors. Like us, they have a proven track record of helping vulnerable customers, and so the partnership is a natural fit.

“After the Financial Conduct Authority granted Harrington Brooks full regulatory authorisation earlier in March, what this new partnership also shows is that we are open for business and that we are always looking to expand our offerings for our clients.”

Vicky Wright, Solicitor and Accredited Specialist of Resolution in Children and Financial Issues said: “I am pleased to announce that Otten Penna will signpost customers struggling with debt issues towards Harrington Brooks. This partnership makes perfect sense for Otten Penna which is always looking to expand our offering and look for new partnerships that achieve tangible benefits for our customers.

“Harrington Brooks have a proven track record of helping vulnerable customers out of debt and we look forward to sharing expertise to achieve the best outcomes for those that matter most – our customers.”
