New Finance Director to join The Nottingham PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 13 April 2017
The Nottingham Building Society (known as The Nottingham) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dan Mundy as Finance Director (subject to final regulatory approval). He succeeds Ashraf Piranie who recently left the society to join West Bromwich Building Society.

Dan joins from the Co-op Bank where he held the position of Director of Finance. He has extensive experience which has been built up in previous senior roles at Santander, the FSA, Nationwide and Yorkshire Building Society.

David Marlow, Chief Executive at The Nottingham, said: “Following an extensive search and recruitment process Dan emerged successfully from a very strong list of potential candidates. Dan’s excellent range of skills and experience will serve the society ideally in the next phase of our development and strategic progress - we very much look forward to welcoming him to the team."

Dan said: “I am delighted to be joining the team at The Nottingham. I was attracted by their impressive progress in recent years and developing strategy, which is gaining traction. There is a great deal to achieve in the years ahead and I am looking forward to making my full contribution to the society’s future success.”

Dan will be taking up his new role at The Nottingham after Easter.
