|George Banco announces new non-executive director|

George Banco has appointed Peter Behrens, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of peer-to-peer lending platform RateSetter, to its board as a non-executive director. George Banco is a personal finance provider that is shaking up the guarantor lending market.
Peter’s deep experience of the consumer finance market will help George Banco meet its plans for future growth. Peter co-founded RateSetter in 2010, and the platform has now facilitated more than £1.8bn in loans. RateSetter allows retail investors to lend directly to individuals and businesses across the UK.
Marc Howells, CEO at George Banco, commented: “Peter has been instrumental in RateSetter’s growth and knows the consumer finance market inside out.
