Alphera partners unleash creativity in aid of BEN PDF Print E-mail

A group of incredibly talented dealers and brokers unleased their creativity and inner graffiti artists to celebrate ALPHERA Financial Services’ 10th anniversary, raising significant funds for automotive charity, Ben, in the process.   

The #AlpheraSense experience took 60 guests on an exclusive sensory journey across five different locations as the Alphera story was brought to life. As part of the day, guests participated in a workshop with professional artist David Speed, director and founder of the Graffiti Life Company. They created their own unique designs that related to the Alphera brand.

Titled ‘The Art of Inspiration,’ the session resulted in a variety of stunning canvas creations – Vision, Partnership and Decade – that were then auctioned to raise money for Ben – a not-for-profit organisation that partners with the automotive industry. It provides support for people and their families that work or have worked in the sector.

As an independent charity, Ben’s tailored, holistic care and support services focus on the four main pillars of health and wellbeing: financial, physical, mental and social. Everyone who works, or has worked, in the automotive industry can access the charity’s confidential, free services.

Following the Alphera event, guests were encouraged to bid on the pieces of artwork, with the ‘Partnership’ canvas ultimately being secured by DSG Finance, raising £1,000 in the process.

Richard Hoggart, CEO at DSG Finance, commented: “Alphera’s 10th anniversary event was unique, innovative and inspired some fantastic business discussions. We really enjoyed the graffiti art session and it is a real privilege to be able to support our industry charity Ben through purchasing this unique – and hopefully one day valuable(!) – piece of art.”

Gerry Kouris, marketing manager at ALPHERA Financial Services UK, added: “I never knew that our partners were such a talented group of artists. The graffiti creations were stunning and so to celebrate such amazing artwork, we decided to share them by hosting a silent auction. The interest we received was fantastic and we’re very proud to have raised much-needed funds for such a valuable cause.”

With entrepreneurial speakers from the arts, music and hospitality sectors, combined with collaborative workshops, strong business messages and powerful networking opportunities, Alphera’s 10th anniversary event took place in December 2016.

Celebrating a decade of success, the business also unveiled its thought-provoking report, ‘Financing the Car of the Future’, which brings together academics, industry experts, leading brokers and motor dealers to deliver a forward-thinking view of motor finance.
