|Clean business data decays over 13 times per minute|
|Thursday, 23 February 2017|
Business information decays at the rate of over 13 times per minute, according to analysis released today by SalesJoe, a new lead management tool powered by Creditsafe, the global business intelligence experts.
SalesJoe identified the figure after analysing 5 million UK businesses and the quantity of changes to company names, addresses, directors and credit risk information across all major business sectors over a 12-month period.
The Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services sector amassed the largest number of business information changes (1.9 million), followed by the Construction sector (1.3 million). At the other end of the scale, Public Administration had the least amount of changes to its information (21,000).
The analysis was conducted by SalesJoe via Creditsafe’s database to highlight the speed at which business data decays and how most data lists purchased by businesses today are effectively out of date by tomorrow. Chris Robertson, Group Sales Director, SalesJoe, commented: “Accurate data is the starting point for any sales or marketing activity. Out of date, unreliable and incomplete data can see businesses waste time, effort and money on activating sales campaigns that never reach their target audience and leave sales staff chasing non-existent leads.
“Businesses from all sectors should be able to benefit from high quality business information. Tools like SalesJoe refresh data every 24 hours so companies have the most up-to-date, fresh and accurate data at their disposal. This means businesses can spend their time communicating with the right people to generate the leads that can support their future growth and boost the economy.”
Offering information on over 70 million companies across the seven countries, SalesJoe is now available across Creditsafe’s operations in France, Germany and Italy, having being launching in the UK, US, Holland and Belgium in 2016.
