The Bar Council appoints Veale Wasbrough Vizards PDF Print E-mail

Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV) has been appointed by The Bar Council to provide debt recovery services to its members, including all barristers and chambers in England and Wales.  

VWV firm has agreed to become an Affinity Partner which means The Bar Council will market the firm's debt recovery services to its entire membership.

Paul Mosson, Director of Services from The Bar Council, commented on VWV's appointment: "Our members need assurance that when we appoint an Affinity Partner, we are rigorous and commercial in our assessment. We were impressed with the experience and quality demonstrated by VWV and feel confident that our members will benefit from the appointment."

The VWV Litigation & Recoveries team, comprising 26 experienced litigation and debt recovery lawyers, work across the firm's offices in London, Watford, Bristol and Birmingham. The firm provides a full range of legal services to commercial and public sector clients, is widely recognised for dispute resolution work.

The team advises on a wide range of commercial disputes, including complex commercial and contractual claims, professional negligence, company and partnership disputes, reputation management and debt recovery. Examples of clients include: EDF Energy, Wincanton, Yankee Candle, Brandon Hire, Britannia Building Society, The Pensions Regulator, a large number of accountancy practices and leading independent schools and universities.
