Celebrations are in order for Contis Group and Monese PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 14 October 2016
The ground-breaking partnership of Contis Group and Monese has won one of the most prestigious awards ‘Best Consumer Loaded Payments Programme’ at this year’s Emerging Payments Awards dinner at The Hilton, London last night.

Hosted by comedian Ben Norris, these prestigious awards showcased the best of the people, programmes and innovations in the global payments industry.

The independent panel of judges, consisting of eminent banking and payment experts, have recognised the collaborative, innovative work between Contis Group and Monese.

As a proven innovator and disrupter in the sphere of challenger banking, Monese ‘the instant account for mobile people’ entered the award with a strong proposition on servicing a niche consumer group (new residents such as expats, migrants and international students etc.) solely via a mobile app and with no physical branches. Supporting Monese, Contis Group has delivered a full ‘end-to-end’ bespoke debit card payment solution and account platforms giving full access via tailor-made APIs.

Contis Group, has been a pioneer in this field over the past few years. It is the only payment provider company in Europe that has the full solution capabilities for companies wishing to launch a debit card and programme. Its technology platform has the ability to build bespoke mobile applications for any product or service, online application and account portals, payment processor as well as supplying a contactless card with BIN number, among other options.

Speaking at the dinner, after receiving the award, Peter Cox, Chairman and Chief Executive of Contis Group said “I’m delighted and proud to receive this Award on behalf of everyone who has diligently worked within this collaboration. We have always strived to develop innovative products and services for our clients. It’s fantastic that our efforts have been recognised by our peers within the financial industry”.
