|Law Society recognises Essex firm|
|Friday, 12 August 2016|
Essex law firm Fisher Jones Greenwood (FJG) has this week been shortlisted for two awards at the Law Society Excellence Awards.
The nationwide awards recognise the most outstanding practitioners in their field and celebrate commitment, enthusiasm and passion within the legal profession. For 2016, FJG has made the shortlist in both the Excellence in Private Client Practice and the Excellence in Innovation in Technology categories.
Susanne Grimwade, head of the Private Client department at FJG commented, “I am delighted that the hard work and dedication of the team has been recognised in these prestigious awards. We always put the client first and are passionate about delivering the best level of service from a law firm.”
With the Law Society having had a record number of applications for the tenth annual Excellence Awards, being shortlisted once, let alone twice, was no mean feat amongst such stiff competition.
Peter Carr, head of IT at FJG added, “Getting to this stage has been a huge undertaking involving trainees, paralegals and partners as well as external stakeholders including the University of Essex. The collaborative working, sharing of knowledge and expertise at all levels continues to have a positive effect on the way we work, whilst also ensuring our clients continue to receive a high-level, cost-effective service.”
Mr Carr continued, “Being recognised at a national level in two categories is a brilliant achievement. We hope that by continuing in this way and by striving for technological innovation alongside excellent customer service, that our shortlisting is just the beginning.”
