|“Tour de TDX Group” riders complete 700 miles in 7 days to raise over £20,000|

A team of avid cyclists from TDX Group embarked on the challenge of their lives last week, as they cycled 700 miles over the course of seven days in a challenge dubbed “Tour de TDX Group” which saw them visit every TDX Group and Equifax office in the UK, in order to raise money for the Children's Bereavement Centre. The Tour began on Friday 10 June at the company’s offices in the Lace Market, travelled south to London, then across to Wales, via ferry across the Irish Sea to Wexford, up to Dublin and back across to Liverpool before returning to Nottingham via Leeds on Friday 17 June.
Stuart Bungay, Group Product and Marketing Director at TDX Group, said: “Gallons of torrential rain, thunder and lightening, monstrous hills and too many punctures to count - but when the going got tough it was heads down and just keep pedlling for our intrepid team of cyclists, as we stayed focussed on raising as much money as possible for the Children’s Bereavement Centre.
“This was a seriously tough challenge and I’d like to say a massive thank you to all of the team who took part on bikes and by helping to organise the event. I’m over the moon that so far we’ve managed to raise £20,014 which will help the centre to continue to offer extremely valueable support to families at one of the most traumatic times in their lives.”
Caroline Froggatt, Corporate and Community Engagement Coordinator at the Children’s Bereavement Centre, said: “This is the second year that TDX Group have supported us as their charity of the year and once again they are going above and beyond to help us. The effort that has gone into this cycle challenge, not only from all the riders but also from everyone who helped to organise and support the event, demonstrates how passionate and determined TDX Group are to support our charity. Their energy and enthusiasm for every challenge they take on is infectious and all of us here at the Children’s Bereavement Centre are inspired by them. Thank you again TDX Group for this cycle challenge and for all that you do for us.”
