|Chubb appoints Tressie Norton as Senior Underwriter, Transactional Risk, for the UK and Ireland|

Chubb today announced the appointment of Tressie Norton as Senior Underwriter, Transactional Risk, for the UK and Ireland, as it continues to expand its insurance capabilities in this important area. This follows the recent appointment of Richard Britain as Head of Transactional Risk Insurance for Chubb's Overseas General insurance division.
In her new role, Tressie will contribute to the development and profitable growth of Chubb's transactional risk product portfolio in the UK and Ireland. She will be based in London, reporting to Grant Cairns, UK and Ireland Financial Lines Manager for Chubb with a matrix reporting line to Richard Britain, Head of Transactional Risk Insurance for Chubb's Overseas General insurance division. Her appointment is effective immediately.
Tressie, had held the position of Senior Financial Lines Underwriter for Chubb since 2012, where she was responsible for underwriting large multinational insurance programmes, building client relationships and also policy wording negotiations and development. She started her career in 2004 at Lander & Rogers in Melbourne, where she worked as a solicitor in the Insurance Litigation group. She then moved in-house to be a Senior Claims Examiner, firstly at AIG Australia and then at Chubb in London from 2009, where she managed a portfolio of complex financial lines claims.
Richard Britain, Head of Transactional Risk Insurance for Chubb's Overseas General insurance division, said: "Tressie's extensive market knowledge and underwriting experience will be instrumental in the success of our transactional risk product roll-out in the UK market and will ensure that we anticipate and cover our clients' needs in this increasingly important area of risk. I welcome her to our team and I am looking forward to working with her."
