|Lemon Way has hired 50 people in a year, opens 3 new offices in Germany, Italy and Spain|

Lemon Way has hired 50 new talents in twelve months. The #1 French FinTech company by number of accounts is also leading in diversity of its workforce, with 23 different nationalities on the 70 people who have joined. Lemon Way CEO Damien Guermonprez explains : "With a European ambition, Lemon Way has to demonstrate diversity in its workforce in order to serve 450 partners in 18 European countries."
With an average age of 25, Lemon Way is also distinguished by the youth of its team.
The Lemon Way team is evenly divided through 4 main activities : IT, Control, Sales and support functions. The company plans to recruit 40 more people in 2016, especially for its international offices.
LEMON WAY OPENS 3 NEW EUROPEAN OFFICES
Lemon Way chooses to get closer to its customers by opening three new European offices in Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany) and Milan (Italy), following the successful openings of two subsidiaries in London (UK) and Dakar (Republic of Sénégal) in early 2016. The company is staffing its international teams accordingly.
Lemon Way has a positive net result and is self-financing its growth since its creation in 2007. The FinTech startup can also count on BPIfrance’s support, which is bringing its total funding to €2m.
Moreover, Lemon Way strengthens its links with the BNP Paribas Group by opening accounts in several European countries where the French banking group operates. Sébastien Burlet, Lemon Way Founder & President is delighted about the great level of trust and cooperation with banks, "We use the same networks and depend on the same Trustee Authorities and regulations than banks, which open accounts for us and even drive customers to Lemon Way. Under these conditions, we are complementary, not competitors."
