In 2015 Qualco UK took the unprecendented step of making its file transfer process available to any organisation seeking a compliant data exchange solution. Qualco Manual Version 3.0 is the latest incarnation and is available as a digital resource on its website www.qualco.co.uk, which contains its technical specification for the exchange of data between originators and their collections agencies.

The file transfer process has been rigorously developed and tested by its experienced technical team, and is adopted by all 27 of Qualco’s outsource partners. It offers assurance to any prospect using its methododolgy that it guarantees conformance in the transfer of customer data.

All agencies on Qualco’s panel have been certified for their achievement and quality in meeting specified guidelines for the transfer of customer data. With four levels of certification, DCAs must achieve a Blue Certification of Conformance to become an approved panel member. The level of certification denotes the quality of and regularity that data loads are sent and meet Qualco’s specified requirements. Its clients are rest assured that when they receive data from a certified panel member that it is representative of the activities undertaken on their behalf.

Christian Jacob, Managing Director at Qualco, said, “Data excellence is the blueprint of the services we provide, so it is important for us to be at the forefront of the industry in championing best practice in the collection and transfer of data. I am therefore pleased to make the Qualco Manual and its file transfer process widely available to the industry and we look forward to its continual development against the backdrop of an ever-changing regulatory environment.”
