|Intuit QuickBooks announces its new ProAdvisor Programme|
|Wednesday, 11 May 2016|
Intuit QuickBooks, the world’s number one online accounting software, today announced a major refresh of its partner programme in the UK, designed to transform the way accountants work with their clients in the cloud.
The QuickBooks ProAdvisor Programme, developed in conjunction with accountants, has been significantly enhanced to even better serve small business clients who are demanding additional value-added services from their accountants and who require support in making the most of mobile and the cloud. With a host of new rewards, features and best-in-industry support, the ProAdvisor Programme is focussed on enabling accountants to advance their practice, enhance their knowledge and fuel their growth.
Through the ProAdvisor Programme, accountants can advance their practice using QuickBooks Online Accountant for free, supported by implementation specialists and access to discounts of recommended partner add-ons. Participants increase their knowledge of the product through special webinars and on-site classroom QuickBooks certification for staff. Lastly, the programme can fuel a firm’s growth through marketing support, including a directory listing on QuickBooks’ homepage and access to marketing funding.
Rich Preece, Europe VP and Managing Director, Intuit, commented: “Cloud and mobile have genuinely changed the game around how we work, communicate and collaborate. This is already having a major impact on how small businesses engage with accountants and the type of services they expect. We truly want to be a partner to the accountants we work with and the launch of our new ProAdvisor Programme is a strong demonstration of our commitment to helping make their lives – and those of their clients – simpler.”
Dickon Sandbach, Senior Partner at Moore Stephens said: “Our number one reason for working with QuickBooks is the team’s focus on partnership. We know that we will get the best cloud offer, not only from a product point of view but also in terms of the Partner Programme benefits and support that Intuit QuickBooks will provide. QuickBooks offers exactly what we need.”
Also today, Intuit announces the integration of Taxfiler with QuickBooks to offer a seamless experience between accounting, final accounts and corporation tax - all within the cloud. Taxfiler is a cloud based accounts production and tax filing product that, by connecting with QuickBooks Online, saves accountants time and increases their accuracy and efficiency at year end.
The software enables accountants to manage the year-end process under one cloud based umbrella, removing manual data entry of trial balances from QuickBooks Online to Taxfiler and automatically mapping to TaxFiler’s Accounts Production Module. These balances will also auto-populate the Corporation Tax Return and, upon filing, the tax journal then flows back in to QuickBooks Online, further increasing efficiency for the accountant.
Vinay Parmar, M Parmar & Co. said: “Many accountants have to rely on two or more solutions to file taxes and their clients’ statutory accounts. These multiple software packages are typically not linked which leads to a lot of manual entry and opportunity for error. The integration between Taxfiler and QuickBooks Online will save accountants significant time as well as cost on year-end software.”
Rich Preece continued: “With Taxfiler and the ProAdvisor Programme, we are proud to continue to offer products and programmes that we know our growing customer base needs and wants.”
