Equifax chosen by Creation as a strategic partner to grow consumer lending PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 15 March 2016

Equifax, the business insights expert, has been selected by Creation Financial Services Limited (“Creation”) to help it deliver ambitious growth objectives across its key consumer markets.

The new three year agreement represents a multi-million pound investment by Creation in enhanced credit risk management, fraud prevention and superior customer analysis. It marks the continuation of a successful partnership between the two companies over more than 10 years.

Creation provides a range of retail finance, credit cards and loans, working with many leading brands, such as Dixons Carphone, ASDA and Currys PC World.

Mark Fairbairn, Head of Retail, Equifax, says: “We are proud to have been selected as a key partner to help Creation grow its reach in the UK consumer credit market. Having worked together for many years we know that Creation always looks to innovation as a means to gain competitive advantage. They have, therefore, been quick to test and adopt many of the new products recently developed at Equifax, particularly where these provide enhanced insight into their customers. This openness to ideas allows us to work together at a strategic level to gain maximum long-term business advantage in a rapidly evolving market. We are excited by Creation’s ambitious growth plans and we look forward to helping them to succeed.”

Stephen Hunt, CEO of Creation Financial Services Limited, says: “Equifax has proved itself to be a trusted and innovative partner as we have doubled our UK business over the last five years. Driving better, smoother and more informed customer decisions is critical to Creation’s success as we implement our growth strategy. It’s important that we work with the best available information and most insightful and reliable suppliers. The new agreement with Equifax will enable us to develop a number of key new initiatives.”
