Davenham has already significantly expanded its Business Development team PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 15 March 2016

Manchester based Davenham Asset Finance is continuing to expand its national reach, increasing support to introducers with the addition of two new members of staff to their Business Development team.

Due to a surge of interest resulting from regional marketing activity in the Midlands, Oliver Cole has been appointed to manage new broker enquiries whilst developing existing relationships. Joining Davenham after gaining solid experience at Metro Asset Finance, Oliver will be working alongside newly promoted Sales Director, Paul Lovelock, and in partnership with all clients and introducers, to ensure Davenham’s delivery of exceptional funding solutions and standard of service is maintained.

Closer to home and with a focus on supporting North West brokers, Joanne O’Connor has joined the Davenham team after holding key sales positions over 15 years, most recently at Aldermore, making her an invaluable addition to the Business Development team in this crucial growth period. Joanne will be based at the Manchester office, promoting Davenham’s traditional values with an unrivalled personalised service. Commenting on her new role, Joanne says; “I am looking forward to the challenge of growing the Davenham Brand in the North West region.”

With an increasingly growing Business Development Team, and ambitious goals for Davenham in the future, Paul Lovelock has been promoted to the role of Sales Director, following his significant contributions to the rapid growth of the business during 2015, helping to double Davenham’s book since he joined in October 2013.

Commenting on the new additions to his team, Paul Lovelock said: “2016 is off to a great start, and I am delighted not only to have been promoted, but also to have two great new additions to my Business Development Team. With a surprisingly wise head on young shoulders, Oliver has already proved an energetic and productive member of the team. His modern approach complements our traditional values and as a result, we have seen more enquiries through our digital platforms. Having Joanne based out of our head office is has proved incredibly beneficial, bringing with her both a wealth of asset finance experience and a confident and efficient manner helping to deliver our fast, efficient service.”

Davenham’s success has been down to offering funding for both straight forward and more challenging proposals, and now with even more to offer their clients, introducers and broker networks across the UK, including two incentive programmes which have recently been launched, the business will be looking to recruit further team members over the next few months.
