Thursday, 10 March 2016

Solicitors Wright Hassall, which also has a debt recovery operation, has appointed its first female Managing Partner in the firm’s 170 year history.

Sarah Perry takes over from Richard Lane, who becomes Senior Partner of the Leamington-based firm, after seven years as Managing Partner.

Sarah, who trained with Wright Hassall and was appointed partner in 1998, also heads the Dispute Resolution Group which includes the volume debt recovery team led by Phil Wilding.

She said: “These are exciting times for the firm as we celebrate our 170 year anniversary this year.

“Wright Hassall is a fantastic business and I am looking forward to us building on the considerable success the firm has achieved in recent years and in taking the firm forward to achieve our ambitious plans for growth.”

Partner Phil Wilding added: “Sarah has been pivotal in supporting the growth of the firm’s debt recovery business, helping us to build intelligent litigation solutions that support the volume capability which has compliance and customer service at its core.

“The debt recovery team has grown to 31 staff and we are looking forward to building on this growth further as we embark on this new phase of the firm’s growth plans.”

Wright Hassall has a 270-strong team, including 145 lawyers and 39 partners.
