|CCUA invites industry to meet Lord Justice Briggs|
|Tuesday, 08 March 2016|
The Civil Court Users Association (CCUA) has been working hard in respect of the Civil Courts Structure Review currently being undertaken by Lord Justice Briggs.
Amir Ali, Chair of the CCUA along with Rob Thompson and Robert Marr (Chairs of both the Policy & Reform and Legal & Technical Committee respectively) met LJ Briggs’ in late October 2015 and put forward their members’ views, thoughts and concerns. His interim report published in January 2016 was comprehensive and thought provoking – The CCUA responded to the same on 29 February 2016.
The CCUA is delighted that as part of his work for the final report Lord Justice Briggs has requested a meeting with CCUA members directly. This will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from Sir Michael, discuss, debate and ask questions about the interim report and hopefully shape the final report and the Civil Courts for all Civil Court Users going forward.
The CCUA is proud to announce that their meeting with Lord Justice Briggs’ is scheduled to take place as follows: Inner Temple Hall – London, Luncheon Room, Wednesday 06 April 2016, 17.30 to 19.30. Food and drink will be served.
