Siemens Financial Services (SFS) has appointed Rob Hallworth to run the company’s block discounting business.
SFS has been operating in the block discounting market for over a decade and has a well-established customer portfolio.
The independent asset finance companies that make up its client base operate in a diverse range of sectors including machine tools, transportation, construction, office equipment, IT hardware and software and consumer car finance.
Rob brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has previously worked for several high profile finance companies accumulating experience in the bus and coach, commercial vehicles and wholesale fleet funding markets, as well as receivables funding and block discounting.
He is tasked with continuing to expand the SFS block discounting customer base and support emerging independent finance companies, in particular existing brokerage businesses which are evolving into writing their own business.
Rob joins a dedicated block discounting support team, including in-house field auditors which visit customers on a quarterly basis.
Emma Thomas, Head of Sales Block & Brokers at Siemens Financial Services said: “Rob has extensive experience in this field and we’re very happy to welcome him to the SFS team.
“From our many years’ operating in this market we’ve built up one of the largest and most diverse customer bases. Rob, with the support of the team, will further strengthen that, cementing our position as one of the market leaders.”
Rob Hallworth, Manager of Block Discounting, Siemens Financial Services added: “SFS has an excellent reputation for customer service. It’s clear to me that our customers appreciate our straightforward service, competitive terms and a personal touch. I look forward to building on the company’s impressive track record.”
