|Fin-tech pioneers Quint Group lure top-drawer talent from prolific online gaming sector|

UK fin-tech pioneer Quint has boosted its senior management team after luring three leading industry figures from the UK online gaming sector, as it continues to drive innovation in UK financial services.
Anthony Wong, formerly of Paddy Power PLC, Seb Haack from Full-Tilt Poker and Edward Ross, formerly head of mobile apps at Sky Bet, have all been headhunted by Quint to join its growing team.
Quint recently rebranded from the Quintessential Finance Group to better reflect its identity as an award-winning and innovative financial technology business, and was one of the first firms of its type to gain FCA Principal status as a Consumer Credit Firm.
Greg Cox, CEO of Quint, said: “The online gaming sector is well known for its cutting edge use of technology and online marketing methods, which we believe are directly transferable to consumer finance.
“We’ve had Anthony on our radar for some time as a leader in the digital and affiliate marketing industry, and were finally able to convince him to move over thanks to our ambitious growth plans and desire to innovate across different financial sectors. We are pleased that all three, who come with some heavyweight reputations, have been attracted by the opportunities and prospects offered by one of the UK’s most innovative fin-tech companies.”
Anthony is a performance marketing specialist and joins the senior leadership team as Group Marketing Director. He is a well-respected marketing expert with over 15 years’ online marketing experience in both Europe and Asia. He previously worked for Quantcast.com as Head of EMEA Client Services, and prior to that worked for Paddy Power as Head of Partnerships, where he led the international gaming industry’s leading affiliate programme.
Seb Haack has joined as International Development Director, bringing over 13 years of valuable international development experience to Quint’s senior leadership team. He previously enhanced the product reach for companies including Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, Bwin and Microsoft. His impressive portfolio of acquisition and performance marketing skills, coupled with his experience of launching online businesses in new territories, has made him an ideal fit for Quint.
Seb has been successful in executing brand strategies across multiple territories, and has a proven track record of doing so within budget, whilst reaching impressive customer acquisition and revenue figures. He launched Bwin in Spain in 2004, growing its revenue to $39m, before moving onto Full Tilt Poker, where he delivered the impressive revenue figures of $27m from launch. He then went on to build $110m of revenue across Full Tilt in 2014, acquiring 180,000 paying customers.
Edward Ross joined Quint during December 2015 as Head of Product. Edward brings a wealth of product and mobile app development experience to Quint, having overseen the management of multiple Sky Bet apps, which have generated revenues of $150m and received the ‘Innovation in Mobile & Tablet’ award at the EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards.
