Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group continues national expansion PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 12 January 2016

The leading UK independently owned corporate turnaround, restructuring and recovery firm continues its national expansion with the opening of a new office in Barlborough, Derbyshire. Having opened its first office in Leeds over three years ago, the Group felt the time was right for further expansion. Barlborough was chosen due to its unique location, bordering South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The new premises at Napier Court bring the total number of offices to eleven. The Group recently opened a new office in Liverpool and, with offices in Manchester, London, Birmingham and Leeds, currently employs over 150 people.

The Barlborough office will be headed up by Business Development Manager, Richard Pinder who has experience in the local marketplace having worked in Sheffield since 2006 as a finance broker and latterly headed up the turnaround division of a local insolvency practice. Richard joined Leonard Curtis in July 2013 and since starting has helped grow the brand in South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. This new office will allow him to cement those relationships.

Richard is a qualified insolvency practitioner, with experience working as a finance broker. He also forms part of the Group’s Aqvvs equity funding team.

Richard Pinder, Business Development Manager, Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group, said: “The opening of the Barlborough office will bring new opportunities for Leonard Curtis. It will help us to work more closely with our introducer base and better serve the needs of our clients. As part of our 2016 growth strategy, we are currently looking to recruit additional personnel to this region.”

Leonard Curtis’ unique service offering covers SME business needs from short-term concerns to longer term solutions and brings a fresh approach to turnaround and recovery to the local market. The Group has significantly developed its service lines over the years with three core divisions: the debt advisory division, Corporate Strategies; the finance raising division, Reach Commercial Finance and the Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery division. The most recent addition to the Group’s offering is Aqvvs, a private equity platform, providing SME businesses with access to equity funding.
