New collaboration for The Centre for Compliance and Trust (CCT) PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 23 December 2015

The Centre for Compliance and Trust (CCT) at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and the CCP Research Foundation CIC today announced that they have entered into a collaboration under which data and expertise will be shared and the two institutions will arrange joint seminars and other events in areas of common interest.

The initial joint programme will focus on banking standards and so-called “grey areas” related to bank misconduct and ethical behaviour. The programme will be case-study based and of a participative nature.

Under the arrangement, which is for three years, CCT becomes an honorary member of the Foundation's Conduct Costs Project Association. Richard Hill, the Executive Director of CCT, also joins the Advisory Board of the CCP Research Foundation.

Roger McCormick, the Managing Director of CCP Research Foundation, said: "We are delighted to enter into this arrangement with the Centre for Compliance and Trust at Cambridge Judge Business School which will further strengthen our research capacity and reach in the conduct, culture and people areas and enhance our contacts with the academic world, where interest in the relationship between business and ethics continues to grow."

Richard Hill, the Executive Director of the Centre for Compliance and Trust said: “Understanding how financial services and other industries conduct themselves and how they can develop the highest standards of behaviour is a critical issue. Through this collaboration we hope to draw together the strengths of Cambridge Judge Business School Centre for Compliance and Trust and the CCP Research Foundation to develop greater insights which directly lead to more positive practices within industry.”

Details of joint seminars and other events, as well as collaborative research publications, will appear on both the CCP Foundation and CCT's websites from time to time.
