Equifax and BAE Systems collaborate to help businesses fight financial crime PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 14 December 2015

Business insights expert Equifax and BAE Systems, cyber security and anti-financial crime specialists, announce a new collaboration to develop innovative business defence solutions. The new relationship will enable businesses, large and small, to access enterprise grade solutions to help combat fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing.

The solutions will combine in-depth data analysis from Equifax with sophisticated technology from BAE Systems and further details of launches will be announced in the coming months.

John Marsden, fraud and identity expert at Equifax, says: “Financial crime is a top priority for businesses ranging from banks to insurers to investment houses and we are developing solutions to help our clients combat these risks. Working together will give clients access to a valuable combination of our robust data insight and high quality, sophisticated technology that BAE Systems offers.”

George Robbins, VP EMEA at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, says: “The reputational and financial impact of fraud losses and money laundering fines are eye-watering and combining advanced software and data analysis is vital to tackle these risks effectively. BAE Systems and our clients are excited about this partnership and the solutions being created by combining Equifax data assets and business insights with our award winning technology.”‎
