The Economist’s social media marketing specialist joins First Complete PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 24 November 2015

Carly McCormick, formerly marketing manager for the Economist has joined First Complete as Marketing Operations Manager. As well as expanding customer facing communications and financial promotional materials for the brokers, Carly is an expert in social media and will play a significant role in the First Complete brokers’ online interaction with their clients.

In the newly created role the marketing operations manager will oversee First Complete’s event and communications programme. Carly will be producing customer-facing communications for brokers to use with their clients as well as frequent, timely and compliant social media content for the first time. Reporting into Toni Smith, the role will build on the solid foundation of communication that First Complete is well known for.

Toni Smith, sales operations director for First Complete says, “Carly has an outstanding track record of experience in both social media and events, while her copywriting is superb. Our brokers have been calling out for measured, compliant social media updates that they can send to their clients for some time so Carly’s appointment will make a real difference to their interaction with their clients. This should improve customer engagement and help brokers both retain existing clients and acquire new ones.”

Carly McCormick says, “First Complete is a well respected and rapidly expanding network and the opportunity to work with them was too good to miss. Social media is definitely the communication medium of the future so it is essential that we do everything that we can to help brokers adopt this and engage the next generation of borrowers as well as providing a new method of communication with existing ones.”
