Director appointed for Rothmans Accountants PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 21 October 2015
Rothmans Accountants, one of the largest accountancy practices in the South of England, has appointed a new Director based at their Southampton office.

Lisa Wilson, who lives locally, joined Rothmans in 2006 after working for a number of years in two other Hampshire-based accountancy firms.

Lisa has many years’ experience advising on all areas of general practice. In particular, she has a keen interest in advising owner-managed businesses, whilst maintaining her expertise in audit and specialist sectors such as not-for-profit and healthcare.

On announcing her appointment, Rothmans Partner, Richard Showan, said, “Lisa combines outstanding technical expertise and excellent rapport with clients. Her ability to build rewarding relationships with family-run businesses helps them to grow and make the most of their assets, while realising their personal ambitions.”

Lisa commented, “I’m thrilled to have been given the exciting opportunity to be appointed a Director and I’m proud to help take the Southampton office forward.

“Building long-standing relationships with clients is one of the most enjoyable parts of my role. It allows me to look at the bigger picture and create practical solutions that suit their business needs as well as their personal goals. An owner-managed business should not be the client’s boss, it is about making the business work for them.”

Lisa has a keen interest in the outdoors and particularly enjoys a heart-thumping walk with a good view. Lisa also harbours a passion for cooking for family and friends, experimenting with new tastes and flavours from around the world.
