Friday, 07 August 2015

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has reinforced its commitment to medium-sized enterprises in Southampton with four new senior hires.

Alison Trant and Mike Morgan both join as Relationship Directors, Jeremy Richards joins as Head of Business Development and Liam Madigan joins as Associate Relationship Manager. All four will play a leading role in delivering financial solutions to new and existing customers as part of the Bank’s on-going commitment to the Solent Region.

Having previously worked for HSBC, RBS and Grant Thornton, Jeremy Richards brings decades of experience in banking and corporate finance origination to businesses across the South Coast.

Morgan joins the team from Barclays bringing nearly 20 years of experience in banking, working with a portfolio of clients across the region, from publicly listed companies to family enterprises. Trant returns to the Bank after spending 10 years in commercial and corporate banking roles for RBS in the South. Madigan was at RBS for eight years, where he became an Assistant Manager specialising in corporate banking across the Solent region.

Neil Foulkes, Head of Mid Markets for Thames Valley and South, said:

“As the maritime heart of the UK and the retail capital of the region, Southampton is the economic hub of the South Coast. Mid-market businesses are a massive part of the city’s success story. In Jeremy, Mike, Alison and Liam we have four highly experienced individuals who are well known in the local business community and will help us to further develop our services to support the ever-evolving needs of this community and the regional economy as a whole.”
