Wednesday, 08 July 2015

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has further strengthened its Global Transaction Banking division by appointing Chris Jackson as its Head of Cash Management and Payment Sales.

In his new role, Jackson will head a 13-strong team responsible for driving delivery of cash management and payment services to businesses with a turnover of between £25m and £750m.

He joins from Barclays Bank, where he spent nine years, including most recently as head of the cash management and liquidity sales team for the Non-Bank Financial Institutions sector. He will report into Global Transaction Banking managing director for mid markets, Kash Ahmad.

Jackson said: “The long term vision and the direction that Lloyds Bank Global Transaction Banking is travelling in really excites me.

“There is a strong commitment to getting to know clients more closely, putting their needs first and really supporting them to grow in every way we can. I’m looking forward to driving that approach through everything we do.”

Ahmad added: “Chris’s previous cash management experience makes him the ideal person to lead our team, and builds on our commitment to become the best bank for clients. We are doing this by growing our Global Transaction Banking business through investing in new, senior appointments to provide the right solutions and expertise.

“British businesses are currently seeing a range of opportunities to grow and I’m confident that Chris and his team will deliver the support they need to achieve their ambitions.”

Lloyds’ Global Transaction Banking division provides payments, liquidity management, working capital and short-term financing to business clients, as well as core banking services to help clients grow, both domestically and internationally, through trade finance, cash management, invoice and asset finance.
