He will report into Donald Kerr, Managing Director, Global Transaction Banking Client coverage. Ben will replace John Robson, who is retiring after 38 years of service.

The new appointments are part of Lloyds Bank’s strategy to continue growing its Global Transaction Banking business and follow wider changes that have been announced within the Group’s Commercial Banking division.

Announcing the new team structure, Ed Smith, Head of Global Transaction Banking said: “These appointments build on the Group’s drive to become the best bank for our clients. As we move into the next phase of our strategy we are investing in our talent and services to provide the right expertise and solutions.
