The Debt Advisor appoints digital marketing ‘heavyweight’ PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 01 June 2015

Award-winning debt management company, The Debt Advisor, has appointed a new marketing and business development manager to drive forward its online and digital marketing strategy.

Dylan Walsh, 34, has been appointed to the Manchester-based debt management company to oversee its marketing function and continue to develop its lead generation operation.

Dylan is a digital media strategist with over 10 years’ experience working in digital media agencies. Before joining The Debt Advisor, he was a freelance marketing consultant advising professional services firms on marketing and project strategy.

Prior to this he spent two years as marketing manager at Stonegate Technologies LLP and, before that, eight years as head of consumer insight services at 2ergo Ltd, the Salford-based provider of mobile-phone marketing and messaging services (now a division of Eagle Eye), where he managed a £6million portfolio of accounts.

As well as launching and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns across several countries, he has also developed digital campaigns and strategies for brands via affiliate and mobile marketing for companies such as O2, Giffgaff, 3, Peugeot, The Football League and Honda.

Speaking on his appointment, Dylan said: “The Debt Advisor stands out from the crowd and is different from the competition. It puts its customers at the heart of everything it does and I really admire that.

“It’s a well-established business but has got lots of scope to grow its online reach and broaden its affiliate network – I’m really looking forward to helping the business fulfil its true online and digital potential.”

Managing director, Bev Budsworth added: “Dylan is a highly experienced business development and marketing manager. Not only does he have the commercial acumen, he also has the technical skills needed to help The Debt Advisor deliver its ambitious online and digital marketing strategy. He’s already proving to be a great asset to the business.”

Dylan lives with his partner Danielle in Rawtenstall where he also plays cricket for the town.
