Comment on CML figures - Paul Hunt, Phoebus Software PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 21 May 2015

Commenting on this morning’s Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) mortgage figures, Paul Hunt, Phoebus Software managing director, says:

“Despite the slight dip in April, we must now hope that spending, investment and borrowing decisions will pick up now that a major source of political uncertainty for businesses is over.

“Next we will look forward to hearing any announcements, within the Queen’s speech next week, which could potentially have positive outcomes for the housing market and perhaps more good news for first time buyers, as this appears to be the sector that has shown substantial growth in the past months.”
