Phoebus Software comment on CML gross lending figures and BoE trends in lending PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 23 April 2015

Richard Pike, Phoebus Software sales and marketing director, says: “Figures today from the CML and Bank of England show an improving market, although the first quarter of 2015 has been slow to get moving and overall is still down on 2014, it is encouraging to see that lending in March was significantly better than in February.

“As the election approaches there may well be more nervousness, but with low fixed rate mortgage deals being announced all the time potential purchasers may well be tempted into the market despite the uncertainty of what a new government might bring.”
