Stockton-on-Tees based start-up, Tapered Plus, an independent roof design business, is set for future growth after agreeing a finance facility with Aldermore Bank.

Tapered Plus was launched in December 2014 by Robert Vass and Aman Chahal and is one of only a handful of premium independent roof designers in the UK. Tapered Plus provide roof designs and materials and have developed an app which makes it easy for their clients, building contractors and individuals, to design and approve their ideal roof anytime and anywhere on their laptop, tablet or mobile.
Tapered Plus has agreed an invoice finance facility and payment protection with Aldermore, which is enabling them to take on new larger clients as they continue to grow.
This deal was facilitated by Gemma Baston, Aldermore Regional Sales Manager for Yorkshire and the North East.
Aman Chahal, Director of Tapered Plus said:

“Since securing the support of Aldemore, we have been able to take on much bigger clients which is giving us a great boost in our first year of trading. We are currently looking at expanding to further locations in the UK.
“Many people told us that it would be very tricky to find funding as a new business, but Aldermore really understood our business and the opportunities and challenges we face. They have provided a solution with the flexibility we need and more importantly, we get a personable service.”
Leyton Jeffs, Regional Sales Director of Invoice Finance at Aldermore said:

“Tapered Plus are an exciting new firm and offer a truly unique proposition. The directors have an excellent understanding of their industry and are already building a strong client base.
“Aldermore is eager to support hard working entrepreneurs, like Tapered Plus. Our personal approach to funding means we can provide the cashflow facilities and protection businesses need to grow. I look forward to watching their progress over the coming years.”
