Senior Decision Science Analyst x 3

Location:  Halifax
Salary:  £35,000 + Bonus & Benefits


  • To develop first class Retail Credit Risk models/scorecards and Analytical solutions.
  • To be an active member of a Modelling and Analytics team ensuring that Retail Decision Science builds excellent Retail Credit Risk models.
  • To communicate and work with business stakeholders to build appropriate plans and to deliver against these plans.
  • To support Analysts in the team, and support Decision Science Senior Managers in the development of wider initiatives across the team.
  • Where required, manage junior analysts, including the setting of clear objectives,and providing clear and objective feedback, including both areas where the analysts worked well, and where there is room for improvement.  Deliver feedback in a positive and motivating way.
  • To be aware of and work to best practices within all aspect of Decision Science Modelling and Analytics.

Senior Collections Strategy & MI Analyst

Location:  London– EC
Salary:  £50,000- £55,000 + Bonus, London Weighting & Benefits

Proactively support the development, monitoring and optimisation of collection strategies across Western Europe retail portfolios.

Senior Analyst – Portfolio Analytics

Location:  London (WC)
Salary:  £32,500+ London Weighting (£3,500), Bonus & Benefits

This role will support theportfolio analytics team within Personal Loans Credit Risk and is responsible forperforming analytic deep dives into the portfolio to better understandperformance and to identify key insights to drive significant business value.

Recoveries Strategy & MI Manager

Location:  London– EC
Salary:  £60,000- £70,000 + Car, Bonus, London Weighting, Pension, Health, etc...

Responsible for minimising bad debt and Loss Given Default Rate through the effective deployment and management of recovery strategy, policy and process in Western Europe Retail and Card portfolios.


Portfolio Manager – Collections & Recoveries

Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus, Shares, Pension, Healthcare

The Role
This is a highly challenging role within one of the UK's largest retail banks.  The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic team at the leading edge of Risk Portfolio Management.

The Collections & Recoveries team within Credit Risk works across a range of products (Loans; Current Accounts; Mortgages) for both individual customers and small businesses.  Key responsibilities of the team are:

  • Managing impairment; delivering a seriesof value-adding initiatives to reduce credit losses.
  • Working with colleagues in Operationsteams to identify optimal application of operational resource.
  • Working with Credit Risk teams alignedto specific SBUs (Specialist Business Units) to forecasting credit lossesaccurately for a range of strategic, market and economic scenarios.
  • Reporting Collections & Recoveriesstrategic performance to the wider business; presenting ideas,opportunities & risks in a transparent manner.

Mortgage Forecasting Analyst

Location:  Halifax or Leeds
Salary:  £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Start:  March

The role purpose is to be a value adding member of the Integrated Forecasting team - developing, implementing and running process solutions that enable top down business forecasts to be created and then linked and fully represented within detailed financial systems.


Credit Risk Portfolio Manager

Location:  London – WC
Salary:  £45,000 + London Weighting (£3,500) & Benefits

The Manager is responsible for the design and of an end-end credit risk management strategy in alignment with the goals of the JV Businesses, and the delivery of new business and total book credit risk KPIs.

Credit Risk Model Validation Manager x 4

Location:  London
Salary:  £40,000- £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits

The Business Area
The role of the Capital Management team is to ensure that regulatory and economic capital is managed effectively within the Retail Division. This is achieved by ensuring that: capital is allocated effectively; capital requirements inherent in the Retail Division's plan are understood (including in stressed economic conditions); the Retail Division meets its regulatory and legal obligations for external reporting and explanation of credit risk related information; credit models and Basel Internal Rating Systems used within Retail are subject to appropriate validation, oversight and governance.

Credit Risk Manager x 2 - Intelligence & Reporting

Location:  London– EC
Salary:  £40,000- £50,000 + London Allowance (£3,500), Bonus & Benefits


To manage the production of credit risk analysis (Intelligence) and key Board and executive reporting. Producing exceptional analysis across products that is insightful, helping to identify key areas to improve the performance of credit risk management. We are looking for Managers who can spearhead the work on answering critical questions to inform debate at asenior level. Candidates will have strong analytical backgrounds - either in credit risk or possibly finance and know the pressure of delivering to tight timescales, how to juggle multiple tasks and deal with demanding stakeholders.
