Andrew Duncan and Alex Cadwallader, Directors at Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group, were appointed joint administrators to cake makers More Food Ltd on 1 September 2017. Chichester-based More Food specialised in the creation and supply of handmade cakes and tray bakes to a wide range of customers, including local bakeries, major retailers, such as Budgens and Waitrose as well as international sandwich shop chains.
BFS extends its funding capabilities for mid-market firms

Edward Winterton, UK CEO, Bibby Financial Services, comments on the British Business Bank’s announcement of the first wave of its £250m Midlands Engine Investment Fund:   “SMEs need to see the benefit from the Midlands Engine and £120 million of SME debt finance is an important first step. Saying that, more needs to be done for the realities of the Midlands Engine to be realised. Bricks need to be laid and concrete needs to be poured.
Alternative finance market in robust health, despite CAMFI indicating slight downturn

Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has announced strategic organizational changes to its US sales team to support continued business growth and create greater synergies across its Asset Based Lending, Factoring and Transportation Finance offerings. Daniel Rodrigue, who rejoined BFS in April 2017 as National Head of Sales for Factoring and Transportation Finance, is now National Head of Sales overseeing all three business segment sales teams. Rodrigue will continue reporting directly to Ian Watson, CEO of Bibby Financial Services in North America.
